Thixotropic metallic paint, antioxidant, pigmented with micaceous iron oxide, studied to beautify and complement primary antioxidants. Ideal for decorating iron surfaces: gates, railings, doors, lampposts, bridges, stairs, etc. It is an effective protection system, due to its resistance to weathering, adhesion and elasticity and beauty of finish.
Surface preparation
Eliminate imperfections and adhesions, sanding and cleaning to remove saltpeters, greases, old paints, dust, etc.
How to use
For the application of the MARTELE, the best system will be to initially give a very thin layer, with the trigger of the gun at half travel and then give a second layer with the trigger pressed thoroughly, or two quick crossed hands depending on the desired finish. Depending on whether one system or another is used, performance will vary accordingly. Application system: 1.- Ferrous metals: For better protection to the outside and greater adhesion it is recommended to give a synthetic primer beforehand, we recommend our I-500 PRIMERS. 2.- Non-ferrous metals (Aluminum, Galvanized, etc.) On these metals, it is highly advisable, before applying the MARTELE, to give a coat of SHOP-PRIMER phosphating primer, in order to ensure the adhesion of the MARTELE. 3.- Old surfaces: On surfaces in poor condition qualify the surfaces and remove traces of oxide, chipping, etc., and proceed as indicated in section 1. Application: A PISTOL. It is recommended to apply with an air pressure, between 3-5 atmospheres, with nozzles of 1.8-2.2 mm., and at a distance of approximately 30 cm.
Storage
UP TO ONE YEAR in places protected from frost. If the container has been opened, close it tightly and use the contents shortly.
