Surface preparation
"Prior to application of EGARUST, oxidized surfaces should be brushed to remove loose oxide sheets and dust. If the metal surfaces have soluble salts, they should be removed by washing with water, as they can delay the conversion process. When the surfaces present greases, calamines, old paints, etc., which prevent the penetration of EGARUST, it is necessary to scratch to open the pore and thus facilitate the chemical reaction.
How to use
1º.- On tempera, lime, old paints etc.: After removing chipping, tempering, lime, etc., apply one coat of ULTRAFINE JAYOKRIL and two hands of METALLIZED TEPPISOL, the first diluted 5-10% and the second undiluted or maximum 5%. diluted 25% or ULTRAFINE JAYOKRIL or WHITE WATER-SEALING PRIMER as sealed and then two hands as in the previous case. 3º.- On hard and dry surfaces: Apply two hands as in the previous cases, preferably preceded by JAYOKRIL or ULTRAFINE JAYOKRIL. 4º.- On wood: Apply a coat of TEPPILACK TAPAPOROS TO THE WATER (brush – roller)) and after the corresponding sanding proceed to give two hands as in the previous cases. 5º.- On iron surfaces: Previously apply a coat of I-500 LIGHT GRAY, proceeding then as in the previous cases. 6º.- On galvanized steel, aluminum and other light alloys: Previously apply a coat of SHOP-PRIMER BLANCO, proceeding then as in the previous cases.
