Surface preparation
The support must be clean, dry and free of contaminants such as dust, grease, etc., which could impair the adhesion of the product. In new concretes wait a month until their complete setting. Cleaning shall be carried out by mechanical means (blasting or milling), chemical (water or steam combined with detergent substances and pressure spraying) or other means (thermal lance).
Before applying
A minimum of 10ºC and a maximum of 80% relative humidity are recommended. Lower temperatures and relative humidity equal to or higher than those indicated, produce a delay in the drying and development of properties, which could be reduced.
How to use
Steel: Abrasive blasting to grade Sa 21/2 of ISO 8501.1 Primer with our EGAPOX or EGAPOX 75 PLUS PRIMER. Concrete: Remove slurry from setting and efflorescence by high-pressure waterjet or sandblasting. Print with our EGAPOX 100 + DUREPOX 80. The total development of properties is obtained after 7 days at 20ºC.
