Surface preparation
The support must be clean, dry and free of contaminants (grease, oil, old paints, etc.). If the concrete is new, it needs to be completely set.
Before applying
The ambient and substrate temperature must be above 10º C during application and curing. The surface temperature should be above the dew point to avoid condensation. The relative humidity should be less than 80% during application and curing.
How to use
The previous application of our solvent-free epoxy primer EGAPOX 100, (Solvent-Free Epoxy Varnish), hardened with DUREPOX 80, (Epoxy Hardener S / D), which will reinforce the penetration and adhesion to the support of the complete system "Impregnation + Finishing" is recommended. On metal it has good direct adhesion, although it is recommended to apply a suitable primer such as our EGAPOX PRIMER, (Two-Component Epoxy Primer), or our EGAPOX 75 PLUS. For roller application, dilute with our Egapox Solvent, 5 – 10% by weight of the Base / Catalyst mixture. For application with trowel apply undiluted.
