Surface preparation
The support must be clean, dry and free of contaminants such as dust, grease, etc., which could impair the adhesion of the product. In new concretes wait a month until their complete setting. Cleaning shall be carried out by mechanical means (blasting or milling), chemical (water or steam combined with detergent substances and pressure spraying) or other means (thermal lance).
Before applying
It is recommended > 10ºC and Relative Humidity < 85%. Lower temperatures and relative humidity equal to or higher than those indicated, produce a delay in the drying and development of properties, which could be reduced.
How to use
It will be applied quickly, given the short life of the mixture. The Base / Catalyst mixture can be applied as is (100% solids), without dilution, with a yield of 4 m2 / Kg for a thickness of 250 dry microns, or diluted with our Egapox solvent. As a single hand, adjust dilutions and yields to the desired final appearance. You can also give one coat diluted to 100% impregnation and another hand as finishing varnish to the desired thickness. The minimum waiting time to repaint is 14 hours, at 20ºC, and never more than 48 hours, if not, it is necessary to sand again.
