It is a two-component epoxy product, with solvents, cured with amines. Combined with the CATALYST EGAPOX SOILS, in proportion 16/4 in weight, it is used as finishing paint, with good adhesions on mineral supports such as concrete, cement and others. Applicable in all types of floors of industrial buildings, pavilions, warehouses, garages, and areas where good protection against mechanical agents and chemical products is required, also combining the decorative effect and easy cleaning.
Surface preparation
The support must be clean, dry and free of contaminants such as dust, grease, etc., which could impair the adhesion of the product. In new concretes wait a month until their complete setting. Cleaning shall be carried out by mechanical means (blasting or milling), chemical (water or steam combined with detergent substances and pressure spraying) or other means (thermal lance).
Before applying
It is recommended > 8ºC and Relative Humidity < 75%. Lower temperatures and relative humidity equal to or higher than those indicated, produce a delay in the drying and development of properties, which could be diminished; Evenings may also occur.
How to use
On low-porous mineral substrates, the previous application of our EPOXY IMPREGNATOR VARNISH or our EGAPOX 100 + DUREPOX 80 is recommended, which will reinforce the penetration and adhesion to the support of the complete system "Impregnation + Finish". Metal supports must be free of grease, rust or other contaminants and, if possible, with a suitable anti-corrosion primer such as our EGAPOX PRIMER. Roller, apply undiluted or diluted maximum 5% by weight of the Base / Catalyst mixture with our Polyurethane Diluent nº3.
